My wife and I have two arguments when we get in the car for road trip. First, whose MP3 player will we listen to? (She usually wins this one, but I reserve the right to skip tracks if Deee-Lite comes on.) Second, whose job is it to remember the FM tuner so we can play songs on the car's stereo? I have been using a first generation FM tuner from Belkin for years, but the company has a new model coming out at the end of the month, the TuneCast Auto for iPod ($59.99), which offers a host of improvements including a backlit display, compatibility with the latest 5G models, and programmable memory slots that let you toggle between two channels. Better still, the unit charges itself by connecting to your car's cigarette lighter outlet. Hopefully, we will make it all the way to my Dad's house for Thanksgiving this year without suffering the indignity of terrestrial radio. Or worse, silence.

Easy, Dan! Terrestrial radio feeds my family and pays my taxes! I, too listen to my iPod on trips with my wife and we BOTH work in radio together. I can't recall ever slamming a tech reviewer before, though. I hope the Belkin device serves you well. Dave Jagger The Dave and Geri Morning Show 95.7 WLHT Grand Rapids, MI
