When we think of DVD storage, most of us point to our DVD storage racks that take up space in our living rooms and bedrooms. According to I4U.com, that won't be the case any longer. Taiwan-based MacPower & Tytech Technology Co. designed the TVisto HDTV Video drive (approximately $210), and the folks over at I4U were lucky enough to get their hands on one. They found that you can "store all your favorite DVDs on the TVisto hard-drive in ISO format. The DVD movies can be watched in the same quality..and on a 500GB hard-drive you could store about 80 full length DVD movies." The TVisto plays back video with up to 1920x1080i resolution, so that means the picture will still look picture perfect on your HDTV. But that's not all it can do. It's also a digital DVD server that plays mp3s and WMAs and displays your photos. Find out more on the TVisto HDTV Video drive in this review.

Very good device I bought one last week. I guess as it is the only 3.5" DivX certified player on the market the quality has to be good. www.macpower.com.tw - I heard they also have a new version what can stream media from other sources?
